In 2022, I visited eight familes / groups of people in Minatomachi, Nagoya to learn about their everyday meals. Using the action research process, I recorded our “chatter” in the kitchen while of cooking and eating together at each home and finally compiled the collection into a book.

【Contents】
(1) Kitchen chats: A record of conversations and photographs (A2 size x 8 sets) in which Ms Motohara and the Minato Machizukuri Council staff visited eight kitchens in Nagoya’s Minato Town, where they ate and talked together while learning about standard dishes.
(2) Nine essays (B5 size, 80 pages) by Motohara after the project.
(3) Chatting in the kitchen, before… or after. A supplement to Kitchen Stories (16 A5-size pages) by the Minato Town Development Council (Keiichi Furuhashi and Mika Kodama), which organised the project and worked with Motohara. What is town planning in a port town? The book also includes the premise of the project.

港まちづくり協議会（名古屋市）が、2016年より続けてきた「み（ん）なとまちをつくるアーカイブプロジェクト」の一環として、2021年度に本原令子と一緒に港まちの８つのお宅へ伺い、そのウチの定番料理などを教わって、一緒につくったり、食べたり。そうして生まれた「おしゃべり」を記録して本にまとめるアクションリサーチを行いました。　　
【内容】
①台所でおしゃべり名古屋の港まちで、本原さんと港まちづくり協議会スタッフが8組の台所を訪ねて、定番料理を教わりながら、共に食べ、話した会話録と写真記録（A2サイズ×8組）。
②陶芸家の傾きプロジェクト後に、本原さんがまとめた9編のエッセイ（B5判80ページ）。
③台所でおしゃべり、そのまえに…あるいはそのあとに。本プロジェクトを企画し、本原さんと並走した港まちづくり協議会（古橋敬一・児玉美香）による「Kitchen Stories」の副読本（A5判16ページ）。港まちにおけるまちづくりとは？といった前提となる話も収録。
